Kristina Marsey


Kristina Marsey, LCSW, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Texas. Kristina received her Master of Social Work from Texas A&M-Commerce and her Bachelor of Social Work from Texas Womans University in Denton. She is also trained in EMDR.

Kristina has experience working in a variety of treatment settings and levels of care, most recently as an outpatient Individual and Family therapist in private practice. Previous experience includes four years with Children’s Health-Plano Eating Disorders Program, specializing in Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorders (ARFID). Kristina also interned with Collin County Children’s Advocacy in Plano working with children and families experiencing protective services and Jonathan’s Place in Garland working with families obtaining licensing for foster care and adoption.

Kristina has a passion for working with individuals and families experiencing many mental health and human relationship concerns, including eating disorders, LGBTQIA+ concerns, anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, non-suicidal self-injury, family conflict and trauma.

Kristina utilizes such treatment modalities as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), EMDR, use of play and sand tray, and trauma informed care. Kristina believes in meeting the client where they are and helping them find their strengths and freedom to break away from negative behaviors and find a new peace in life.
