Ashley Ariail


Ashley Ariail is a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor and Certified Eating Disorder Specialist. Ashley holds a Master’s Degree in Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary. Ashley has over 10 years of experience treating eating disorders at the inpatient, partial hospitalization, and outpatient levels of care. Ashley is competent in treating all types of eating disorders including: anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), and other specified feeding and eating disorders (OSFED).

Ashley’s expertise is in treating families affected by the difficulty of a family member suffering from an eating disorder. Ashley works alongside the family by providing education, guidance, and support on how to successfully work together as a family to overcome the eating disorder. Ashley believes that recovery is possible and much more powerful with family involvement and intervention.

Ashley is an advocate in her field for mental health awareness, breaking stigmas around eating disorders, and promoting healthy body image. She has been involved in research to further expand the knowledge of the populations affected by eating disorders. Ashley has also earned a name for herself by presenting and speaking on topics related to the eating disorder community. She is a strong and passionate voice in her community.

Specialties include: Eating Disorders, Family therapy, Self-harm (non-suicidal self-injury), Anxiety, Depression, Behavioral issues, Boundary setting/ relationship issues, Self-esteem, Trauma, and bullying.

*Ashley maintains a full-time position at Children’s Health as a Clinical Therapist. Due to this, she sees a limited number of families and does not accept insurance. However, she does provide a Superbill for reimbursement.
