Katryna Petty


Katryna is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate. Katryna completed her bachelor's degree in psychology at University of Texas at Dallas in 2020 and her master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2025. She is supervised by Natalie Morse LPC-S, RPT at Flourish Counseling.

With a passion for holistic care, Katryna believes that the mind and body are connected, and both contribute to a person’s mental wellbeing. This approach guides her practice where she utilizes person-centered and health at every size approaches tailoring interventions to the needs of the client. Katryna provides child, adolescent, and family therapy for children 6 years of age and up. She has worked with children and their families affected by eating disorders at various treatment centers in DFW for the past 4 years. Katryna also works in a children's inpatient eating disorder facility. Prior to that Katryna worked with children and their families with autism in a behavioral setting.

By engaging the whole family in the therapeutic process Katryna believes therapy can support everyone. She assists families with improving communication, resolving conflicts, and supporting each other. Katryna has training in cognitive behavior therapy, DBT skills, ACT, mindfulness, play and activity therapy as well as tele-mental health. Katryna’s specialization areas are working with clients with eating disorders, Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder (ARFID), Oppositional Defiant Disorder, ADHD, autism, school readiness, behavioral concerns, parenting support, coping skills, group counseling, anxiety, and depression.
